  This is the worst garage I have ever had the displeasure of going to. If I could give no stars, I would. I took my car for a simple MOT and they found fault with everything (even parts which were just replaced 2 weeks prior to the MOT test). They found a reason to charge me for every single thing they possibly could, and even charged me 44p for a single zip tie.
  
  Many of the things they chose to fail me on were things that were not damaged, worn or faulty, but parts they wished to replace at extraordinary cost, seemingly at their own discretion. I conferred with 4 other garages (including one which had noted how well the car was performing only the week before) and they confirmed that those issues were defintely not a fail at all but said that MOT stations can fail a car not because it warrants it, but because they chose to for a number of reasons. So effectively, one garage may give an advisory where others may fail. Colas failed the car on things that needed nothing replaced at all. I have since spoken with others who have reflected these same sentiments.
  
  In my opinion, Colas is a veiled extortion racket, I would absolutely not go back or recommend that anyone else go there either. They take advantage of decent people and prey on those whom they think know no better or have unlimited funds to spend. The MOT climbed from £40 over £1,200 and they only reduced that cost to £920 when I got angry and insisted that they were taking advantage....and further explaining that the MOT couldn't possibly cost that much. In addition, they had my car for nearly A MONTH!!!!!!
  
  If you are considering taking your car here for convenience or some such reason, may I suggest that you take your car elsewhere. There are a number of very reasonable garages locally which will give you an honest appraisal of your car and what it may or may not need. They are so bad at what they do, they even have their own employees leaving favourable reviews to try and skew the publics impression of them.
  
  COLAS ARE THIEVES!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY WELL CLEAR
